What can you expect on our tours?

Our photography tours are all about shooting in the field and getting the very best coverage of a destination that leaves little or no time for reviews and critiques (please see the workshops description if this is your primary interest).  We are usually up before dawn and stop shooting when there is no more light.  Nobody said photography is easy! Nevertheless we want our tours to be fun and we will always be there to give help when it’s needed.  We will also be shooting and through experience have found that teaching by example is often the best way to share our craft.  So much about making a photograph is intuitive and watching us at work will tell you more than we could put into words.

We travel to places we know well but occasionally we will offer exploratory tours at our cost to our trip alumni.

Who are our ideal participants?

We welcome anyone with a love of photography who is using equipment with which they are comfortable. We find that tours are most enjoyable for those who have a sense of adventure.  These are not luxury tours.  We go to places where the accommodation may be basic but the photographic opportunities are exceptional – photography always takes priority. Spouses and friends are welcome too but they will have to tolerate the bizarre habits of photographers.
